We understand that after our initial editing of your manuscript, you may need to make further changes to your paper following peer review. With that in mind, our Essential, Advanced and Premium Editing Packages all feature a re-edit option for your order, available for 12 months after initial submission.
How Our Re-Edit Service Works
When re-rediting your paper, we will review and re-edit the entirety of your manuscript, or specific sections highlighted by you. If you select our Advanced or Premium package, we will also review and edit any responses to reviewers you may have, as well as your cover letter, if necessary.
Please note any sections of your manuscript that were not present in your originally submitted order (e.g. references, figure captions, supplementary documents) or in subsequent re-edit orders will not be edited as part of your latest re-edit order.
Additionally, orders where a significant proportion of the content has been changed (by 30% or more), or where the word count of the manuscript has significantly increased (by 20% or more) are not eligible for our re-edit option. In these instances, we will contact you to discuss further publication support options for your paper.
Multiple Re-Edit Terms
Re-edits are unlimited for 12 months after your order’s original submission. If the content of your manuscript changes significantly as outlined above, it may not be eligible for multiple re-edits. In this instance, we will contact you to discuss further publication support options for your paper.
If you are ready to submit the revised version of your article for re-editing, go to your past orders within your dashboard and select re-edit. We will assess your paper and will get in touch with you if necessary.
